Abstract |
UAV generally uses GPS aided INS to obtain the position and attitude with high accuracy. But if the INS has low accuracy or no GPS signal gets for a long time, reliability of the position and attitude is degraded. Hence image-based navigation is requested as the use of complement for GPS aided INS system. In this study, we propose the method of imaged-based navigation using the information of road intersection points in the image. Neural network method is adopted to match the identified feature point of the obtained image to the pre-determined on-board information. Finally, We can estimate the position and attitude of the UAV through NR(Newton-Raphson) method. |
